Financial Wellness Workshop Series

This interactive workshop series covers budgeting basics, smart saving strategies, managing student loans, and building credit with confidence. Participants will leave with practical tips, resources, and a personalized plan to thrive financially throughout college and beyond. Workshops are hosted by Lakeyla Whitaker, Financial Wellness Coordinator. Learn more about the Financial Wellness Center.

  • Graduate School and Beyond
    Explore graduate programs, application strategies, funding options, and post‑admission pathways in this empowering workshop for first‑generation students.

    A hands‑on introduction to salary and benefits negotiation, giving first‑generation students the knowledge, skills, and scripts needed to advocate for themselves professionally.

  • Engage in an exciting professional networking experience with industry representatives and UMD alumni! This is your time to learn from accomplished professionals and practice social etiquette skills from our career readiness workshops.
